Vintage Indigo Cotton Matsuri Hanten Jacket: "Daimon-gumi (大門組）",Tengu on the back
The company name DAIMON-GUMI(大門組) is printed on the front, and the Tengu (天狗) illustration on the back.
Tengu (天狗) which is a legendary creature in Japanese folklore.
It is often depicted as a bird-like being with a long nose and red face.
The Happi is a traditional Japanese straight-sleeved coat or jacket often worn at festivals and other celebratory events in order to show unity, belonging, and shared celebration.
Dark yellow has been used for the lining of each cuff hem. You can enjoy the 2 patterns of the cuff styles by folding them.
Nice texture and good vintage wearable condition. All handmade and hand sewn.

kimonos are box-shape. it will fit many sizes.
There is no label in this Hanten Jacket. But some Men in European M-L size tried this Hanten comfortably.
However please check the measurements before purchase.

Please note:
All measurements are taken from the back when the kimono is placed on a flat surface.
The measurements are approximate.
Condition:
Good vintage condition. There are some small colour change of age as a workwear, however, except that, we don't find other major stains and we believe that the wear of the fabric gives this jacket more charactor. We try to describe the kimono as accurate as possible.

- All of my items are vintage and pre-loved unless mentioned. I do my best to note any flaws, however, it is possible that a garment may have a small flaw that has accidentally been overlooked. I will offer a refund only if an item has been largely misrepresented.
- Returns of this nature must be return postmarked within 3 days of receipt, and received in the condition in which they were sent out. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
