Vintage Japanese Fireman's Hanten Work Sashiko Jacket Kimono -Woven Cotton /玉名市消防団
Japanese letters ''玉名市消防団 本部員 meaning 'the member of the fire department of Tamana City. In the circle at the back, the letters '玉名 (Tamana) is the name of the town.
Period: Late Showa-early Heisei period 1970s -90s
Material: Thick & heavy cotton woven fabric

All measurements are taken from the back when the kimono is placed on a flat surface.

Condition:
Shows expected wear for a vintage item, but remains in wearable condition.
It has a distinctive vintage character that cannot be found in new items, and is in good condition for vintage workwear.
There is a repair on the left cuff, but it is not very noticeable and can only be seen upon close inspection. Additionally, the section from the collar to the front where the original fire brigade name was written has been covered with a new fabric panel and stitched over.

Size: free size
kimonos are almost box-shape. it will fit many sizes. Shoulder seam should drop your actual shoulder.
There is no size label, but it is roughly equivalent to a women’s M or a men’s S. Please refer to the measurements for accurate sizing.
